What is SpriteWizard?

SpriteWizard is a web service that allows you to create and manage css sprites by using a drag and drop interface.  You can customize the selectors and rules for each image that is added to your sprite making it easier to maintain.  Click here to watch the demo video.

The thought process behind SpriteWizard's design

jebaird@souders.org left a comment on my blog about extending spriteme.com with a drag and drop interface. I really like open source projects but I think SpriteWizard has a different scope than spriteme.org. So I thought I would explain the thought process behind SpriteWizard's design, and why its different than any of the other css generators out there.

Beta launch

I'm very pleased to announce the beta release of SpriteWizard.  The css sprite generator and manager.
Some of the cool features that are built in to SpriteWizard are:

  • Create multipule projects
  • Manage css selectors and rules
  • Arrange images in any order and position

I'll be adding more features as time goes on.  If you can think of a feature that you would like please contact me.
